Palette Swatch | Lorac Pro 3

DSC01158This Palette is just as promising as the first 2. For $44.00 you get 16 buttery, pigmented, intense shadows; 8 matte and 8 shimmers and an included shadow primer. I love that you can wear these shadows dry, and wet if you need more intensity. The only small issue I have with this palette is that the black shadow isn’t as black as I would like and the black tends to have quite a bit of fallout. That isn’t a big enough problem for me not to recommend this product though. Just like the first two Pro Palettes, I adore it. In comparison this palette has a warmer more golden feel to it. To compare, check out my other post on the previous palettes, Pro 1 and Pro 2.

Now off to the swatches!

I might be a weirdo, but I really like when a product is displayed on it’s packaging.

Palette Swatch | Urban Decay Moondust

Every time I go shopping I have to try to avoid Sephora and Ulta like the plague. Those places are a death trap for makeup junkies like myself. Well, the other day I had to take my kiddos school shopping and I was trying my best to avoid Sephora, when I saw this beauty on a display case. I stopped in to take a peek and swiped a few swatches and tried to walk away. “Tried” being the key word. I purchased this palette and I have no regrests. I’m lucky I was able to get out of the store with this palette being my only purchase. I haven’t created any looks with this palette yet, but rest assure I will have some coming soon. A friend and I were playing around with the colors the other night and they are so beautiful that we got carried away and had glitter everywhere.  LOL! The pictures really don’t give this palette any justice. It is one of those products that you must see in person. With that being said, enough with the talking and let’s get swatching!

Dry swatches done with my finger. Colors left to Right: Specter, Element, Magnetic, Lightyear, Granite, Lithium, Vega, & Galaxy

When used dry the colors are super sparkly, but when you apply the colors wet they look more metallic and a little less sparkly. Both ways are stunning. It just depends on the look you are going for.

Wet Swatches done with a brush & water. Colors left to Right: Specter, Element, Magnetic, Lightyear, Granite, Lithium, Vega, & Galaxy

And of course and am so mesmerized by the sparkly colors that I had to give you all a few more close ups.

And for those of you interested in the packaging and ingredients.

Back of Package.

I hope you find this post helpful and enjoyed all of the sparkly colors. Please let me know in the comments below if there is a palette you want me to showcase.

Look of the Day | Estee Lauder the Old & the New

EL OLD & NEW-1 I was in he mood to play and I had to get ready for work so I grabbed all of my Estee Lauder products and worked it out. I used some items that are wonderful and new and some items that are wonderful and discontinued. I always look at my discontiued products like little treasures in my collection that others might not have ever got the pleasure of knowing. I did take these pictures later in the evening after a long day at work so they might even seem a little faded after being on for over 12 hours. And I did touch up the lipstick before taking the shots.
All items listed are Estee Lauder, unless otherwise stated, and I also labelled the items that are discontinued)
